we are the German Cosmetic and Detergent Industry association and can give
some information for cosmetic products, which are regulated in the LFGB
(Lebensmittel,- Bedarfsgegenstande - und Futtermittelgesetzbuch; subsequent
regulation to the former LMBG). We do not represent food/food additive industry.

For cosmetic products propylene glycol is not specifically regulated as
such, but it is covered by the general saftey requirement. So - it can be
used in cosmetic finished products, if the safety assessment confirms the
safety for the intended use.

一般安全基準が設けられているだけです。この基準を満たし安全であることを
